Abstract

The study was conducted under the title of "Factors Influencing the Growth of Small and Medium Enterprises in Helmand Province" and data were collected from 63 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Lashkar Gah and surrounding areas of Helmand province through a questionnaire and SPSS version 27 was used to analyze the data. Since there are many factors that influence the growth of SMEs، only the effects of exchange rates، skilled workers، and government policy have been studied and the study uses the regression modal and correlation matrix. The results of the regression model showed that independent agents can explain the changes in the function variable (62.6%) and also the independent variables are related to the function variable (79.1%). The results of the study showed that the exchange rate has a negative impact on the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises and the government's policy has a positive effect on the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises.
