The Impact of Educational Technology on the Quality of Education in Afghanistan

Abstract

Considering the growing progress of education in Afghanistan, internet-based technology can be applied in various dimensions. Managing online sections and organizing useful information for students can have positive effects on the quality of learning, provided that continuous access to regulated websites and channels is ensured. Since different senses do not play the same role in learning within the framework of education, the most important reason for using educational technology is that it can engage multiple senses simultaneously and thereby enhance effectiveness. Internet-based educational technologies, by combining theory and practice, improve learning and bring diversity to the classroom environment. It is therefore clear that one of the most important tasks of curriculum developers is to facilitate the wider and more effective application of technological advancements to improve the quality of education. The findings of this study indicate that the use of internet-based technology has a positive and significant impact on the quality of education, particularly in developing countries and especially in Afghanistan.
