A Study of Water Purity in the Light of Prophetic Guidance

Abstract

The Prophetic traditions place great emphasis on water, as it is essential for life and a right of all. Islam instructs people to protect water from pollution and not to be negligent regarding its cleanliness. The Hadiths prohibit urinating, blowing, and spitting in water, and further advise that water containers should be covered and its use should be moderate. Water purity is vital for human health, the correctness of worship, and the survival of other living beings. Overall, Islam encourages people to always keep water clean and to adopt all necessary measures to prevent contamination, thereby ensuring a healthy environment for society.
