Abstract

This study focuses on Israel’s role in the Middle East and the strategic reasons for the United States’ support. Its aim is to clarify why the United States provides financial, military, and political assistance to Israel and how this support is used to safeguard its long-term interests. The central question is: why is Israel regarded as important to the United States as a “fifty-first state,” and what effects does this cooperation have on relations between the two countries? The value of this research is that it reveals the deep political, military, and colonial ties and objectives of the United States and Israel in the Middle East. Methodologically, the study employs a library-based (desk) research approach, drawing on scholarly articles and authoritative books. The findings show that Israel is a strategic and geoeconomic ally of the United States, protecting U.S. political, economic, and military interests in the Middle East.
